Dragging A**

Breakfast this morning was Scottish Oats with some Benefiber, Aria protein powder, and brown sugar mixed into it.

I also had a toasted bagel thin with low fat cream cheese.

Since I was going to a work training for most of the day, I knew I wouldn’t have my normal eating schedule. Breakfast was extra filling.

Around 11, I had a small plain Greek yogurt with a little granola in it.

After my training was over, I walked across the bridge to my office and was disturbed by the weather! It was sunny, warm, then freezing cold and rainy. Check out the bizarre clouds!

Lunch was a cup of chili and a few crackers.

I think today is going to be my rest day. My schedule was thrown all out of whack with training, and I’m feeling tired and run down from last night’s festivities. I’ve been fighting off a headache all day, too. Perhaps a little yoga at home and vegging in front of the TV is in store for me tonight.

QUESTION: How many days a week do you exercise?

  1. what exactly is scottish oats?

    i usually exercise 5-6 days a week.

    • Just a little info: “Steel Cut Oats or Scottish Oats or Irish Oats- These are groats which have been cut into two or three pieces. Cooking time is considerably longer than for rolled oats.” In my opinion, Scottish oats taste better than regular oatmeal. The oats are bigger, chewier and it’s not as creamy.

  2. Don’t you love Scottish oats! I mix them with Rye cereal. I make them the night before and they absorb all the almond milk so I have a Huge bowl in the morning. I love volume foods. I work out 6 days a week, but am thinking about cutting back to 5. I find that I don’t have the best workout by day 6 because I am so tired.

  3. A day off is good and needed sometimes! Relax and enjoy it.

  4. What a crazy looking cloud!
I try to get 5 days of exercise in – unless I have a race coming up (like this weekend) then I will schedule a few extra days off!

  5. Whoa! Bizarre clouds are bizarre!

I’m exercising every day right now, but I don’t know how sustainable that will be in the long run.

  6. Yoga and tv sound like a perfect cure to how you’re feeling 🙂

I usually exercise around 3 or 4 days a week. I walk a lot because I dont have a car so that keeps me pretty active.

  7. I workout pretty much every day, I just vary the intensity. I’m so used to being active now that it just makes me feel better!

  8. Right now I’m working out every day, but normally I shoot for 4 days a week of running/walking (above and beyond normal day’s activity) and 2 days of yoga. I know Yoga isn’t a strenuous workout, but it makes my muscles happy, so I figure it’s worth it.
